AT&T is the first US carrier to carry BlackBerry Bold.
But you can get an “Unlocked” BlackBerry Bold
My brother ordered his BlackBerry Bold from here and loves it.

I’m not sure what AT&T is? Maybe a newwork company outside of the UK. I know O2 are selling it at the moment.

wifi is a phone feature, it should work without any data plan. Data plans are more for email, web surfing etc. Use a wifi hotspot or unsecure network and surf away.

Well, yea AT&T is coming out with it and only them just like they have the iPhone. But you know that you could purchase the unlocked phone on eBay or somewhere. And yea, that phone rocks.
